Beetroot is an excellent source of folate and a good source of manganese, with other nutrients in low amounts. Beetroot juice reduces blood pressure and also cardiovascular diseases like stroke etc.
Beetroot may cause urine to become red, which is not harmful. Beetroots are very good for kidney stones.
